Stress and Rescue

The SSI Stress and Rescue course is open to anyone with any level of training! The only pre-requisite is the Open Water Diver class.

With the Diver Stress and Rescue program, any certified diver can now become an even more confident diver the SSI way. Learn how to detect and prevent stress in yourself and your diving companions, while mastering the rescue skills needed to help a diver in trouble. Also learn first-hand how to administer immediate care to an accident victim.

SSI combines a 2-part video tape series with this manual and other support components to create the most comprehensive Stress and Rescue course available. Learn how to improve your diving safety from the experts at SSI. With the Diver Stress and Rescue program you will increase your diving competency and enjoyment whole you learn to prevent diving accidents.

Prerequisites

• Qualified Open Water Diver

• Current Medical

• 3 nights theory

• Diving sessions over 1 weekend

• Students to provide their own scuba equipment

• We provide course materials, air fills, recus maniquins, pool entry and qualification card.
